The TalentManager range depends on company size and sector. Core is 4,390 € up to 50 employees, 5,490 € up to 500, 6,190 € above. Pro is 5,690 €, 7,190 € and 8,190 €. Staffing agencies pay 5,790 € to 7,890 €. The full table, the discount from three licences and the contract rules are in the XING TalentManager cost guide.

Which product for what

The job ad waits. It buys 60 days of visibility for one vacancy and brings applicants who are looking right now. TalentManager searches. It finds people who are not looking and lets you message them directly. That is active sourcing. The Suite is the bundle of both, for teams that need a lot of both. The company profile is the business card candidates look at before they reply.

A team filling three roles a year gets by on three ads. It needs no annual contract. A team writing to lists every week does not get far without TalentManager. A Premium account has five messages to non-contacts a month. Most recruiting teams need one of the two products and buy both to be safe.

ZingBot and working time

ZingBot costs 135 € a month per seat, billed monthly, quarterly or yearly; one seat is one XING account. It works inside your own XING account. You import the list from TalentManager and write the message and follow-ups once. ZingBot works the list and stops as soon as someone replies. For the import you need the TalentManager licence on that account. ZingBot changes nothing about XING’s price.

Nobody puts working time in the table, and it is usually the biggest block. Time it for two to four weeks, separately: search and selection, list upkeep, message and follow-ups, checks, replies. ZingBot takes over only the message-and-follow-ups block. Up to 12 hours a week per employee sit there. Everything else stays your team’s work, with or without a tool.

Three worked examples

All three use XING’s list prices, a fully loaded hourly rate of 45 € and no VAT. Put in your own figures. The ROI calculator turns licences, hourly rate and placement value into a yearly projection.

TeamXINGZingBotWorking timePer year
Occasional: three roles a year, ads only3 × 899 € = 2,697 €0 €3 × 10 h selection and interviews = 1,350 €about 4,050 €
One sourcer, 51 to 500 employees, Core, with ZingBot5,490 €1,620 €8 h a week search, selection, replies = 16,560 €about 23,700 €
The same sourcer without ZingBot5,490 €0 €plus up to 12 h a week sending = up to 41,400 €up to 46,900 €
Staffing agency, three consultants, Core, with ZingBot3 × 5,790 € = 17,370 €3 × 1,620 € = 4,860 €3 × 8 h a week = 49,680 €about 71,900 €

The second and third rows are the real comparison. The licence is the same in both. The difference is sending work, and over a year that costs many times the tool that takes it over. How much hangs on your hourly rate and on how many lists you really write to. Hence “up to”.

Where you save

  1. Core instead of Pro, as long as your team does not send 200 messages a month to new people. That is 1,300 € to 2,000 € per licence and year.
  2. Licences by head, not by department. A licence belongs to one person and cannot be shared; whoever does not source does not need one.
  3. Ad or sourcing, not both by reflex. Decide first whether the role attracts applicants or has to be approached.
  4. The Suite against the sum of what you would use, not against the sum of every product in the package.
  5. Automate the sending, not the search and selection. A tool can take over the hours at the send button. It cannot take over the hours of judgement.

Questions about XING recruiting costs

What does a job ad on XING cost?

899 € per ad plus VAT, 60 days online, shown on XING and, per XING, over 200 partner platforms. Add-ons such as the reach refresh or the TalentManager add-on are quoted on request.

What does XING TalentManager cost?

Per licence and year between 4,390 € (Core, up to 50 employees) and 8,190 € (Pro, over 500 employees); staffing agencies pay 5,790 € to 7,890 €. Twelve-month term, paid yearly in advance, plus VAT. Every tier is in the TalentManager cost guide.

What does the XING Recruiting Suite cost?

XING names no list price. The Suite bundles TalentManager Pro licences and job ads in one package (Corporate or Staffing); the price comes from the quote. Compare it with the sum of the individual products you would really use.

What does the XING company profile cost?

The company profile Pro costs from 999 € a year according to XING. A basic company profile is free. For active sourcing the profile is not a must, but candidates you message will look at it.

What does active sourcing on XING cost in total?

For one person with a Core licence in a mid-sized company: 5,490 € a year for XING, 1,620 € for ZingBot, plus the working time for search, selection and replies. Without automation ZingBot drops out and the working time grows by the sending work, up to 12 hours a week.

Do I need a job ad for active sourcing?

No. The ad and active sourcing solve different jobs: the ad waits for applicants, sourcing approaches people who are not looking. Many teams run both; then book the ad to the vacancy and the sourcing to the month.

What does ZingBot cost on top?

135 € a month per seat, billed monthly, quarterly (405 €) or yearly (1,500 €); one seat is one XING account. The TalentManager import needs the TalentManager licence on that account.

Does XING give discounts?

On TalentManager from the third licence, on job ads a reduced price when buying several; XING shows both only in the calculator or the quote. The Suite is XING's way of making bundles cheaper.

How do I count the working time?

Hours per month for search, selection, outreach, checks and replies, times your fully loaded hourly rate. Time it for two to four weeks and the figure stands. The ROI calculator turns it into an annual projection.

Monthly or yearly?

Bring every amount to the same period: annual contracts divided by twelve, quarterly payments by three. A job ad belongs to the vacancy, not the month; otherwise a quiet month looks dearer than it was.
