ROI calculator
Whether 135 € a month per seat pays for itself depends on your hourly rate, your list work and your fee. Put in your numbers. The prices are facts; everything else is an assumption you can change.
How this is calculated
- ZingBot = seats × 135 € × 12 months; on yearly billing seats × 1,500 €.
- TalentManager = licences × the list price for your bracket, only if you do not have it yet; otherwise 0 €, because you pay it anyway.
- Hours saved = seats × hours per week × working weeks; value of the time = hours × hourly rate.
- Messages a year = messages a month, at most your plan's cap, × seats × 12. Core: 200 a month per licence, staffing agencies 300. Pro: unlimited; the model stops at 1,000 because XING reserves a review above that.
- Placements = messages × positive reply rate × share that becomes a placement. The defaults of 7 % and 10 % are assumptions, not measurements; put in your own rates.
- Additional revenue = placements × fee; fee = annual salary × percentage, or the fixed fee.
- Net benefit = value of the time + additional revenue − costs. ROI = net benefit ÷ costs. Payback = costs ÷ (value of the time + revenue) × 12 months.
- All prices net, plus VAT. Rounding happens only in the display.
The result is a projection from your own inputs, not a promise: ZingBot takes over the list work; how many placements come out of it is decided by your market and your work.
Questions about the calculation
Where do the prices come from?
ZingBot Pro is 135 € per seat and month, or 1,500 € a year on yearly billing. The TalentManager prices are XING's list prices per licence and year, net, in brackets by company size; staffing agencies pay the higher rate. If you have agreed your own price with XING, enter it and it overrides the list.
Why at most 12 hours saved?
Because no more is claimed. Up to 12 hours a week per employee go into list work that ZingBot takes over: opening profiles, pasting the salutation, pasting the message, keeping follow-ups in your head. The default of 6 hours sits deliberately below that. Set your own value.
Where do the placements come from?
From your messages, in three steps: messages sent a year, a share of them answered positively, a share of those placed. The defaults of 7 % and 10 % are assumptions, not measurements; both rates are visible and your own numbers belong there. We do not derive placements from the hours saved, so the same hours are not counted twice. With 0 % you see whether ZingBot pays for itself on time alone.
What does payback mean?
The number of months until the gross benefit, i.e. the value of the time plus additional revenue, has reached the annual cost. Without any benefit there is no payback; it then reads "never".
Is the result a commitment?
No. It is your calculation with your assumptions. Whether and how many placements come of it depends on your market, your lists and your messages. Try it free for 7 days and compare the time you actually save with your assumption.
